An Afternoon at Aberford
A gem, tucked away in a picturesque Yorkshire village, Aberford interiors is an Aladdin’s Cave of delights. While away the hours wandering from room to room, browsing their beautiful collection of hand-picked home and garden accessories.
Follow the interiors-packed rooms to the back of the house to discover a warren filled with the most beautiful and inspirational Neptune interiors. Explore the stunning country house gardens, and enjoy a coffee in their tea rooms, helped along with a generous slice of homemade cake.
It was the perfect setting for our first summer grazing sampling afternoon.
Jennie and Marcelle joined the team at Aberford Interiors to demonstrate a selection of simple summer grazing ideas, perfect when hosting friends and family this season. Together they created a selection of canapes, which visitors were invited try, alongside providing tips and inspiration for summer entertaining.
One of the joys of Charlie & Ivy’s is the simplicity of using the products. Packed with flavour they do so much of the hard work for you. One of the canapes, our Smoked Salmon Bites are made by simply whipping together Charlie & Ivy’s Lemon & Dill Mayonnaise with some cream cheese, spreading onto an artisan cracker and topping with some smoked salmon and a little fresh dill.
Bitesize bruschetta were also served alongside Chilli, Avocado & Feta crackers, and mini Roasted Sweet Potato Salads. All quick and simple to make, and guaranteed to impress your guests!
All in all, it was a delightful day and our team enjoyed meeting so many new customers. The sun even shone for a short while so we could explore the stunning garden!
