Spicy Chorizo Posh Beans on Toast

A delicious dish, perfect for breakfast, lunch or brunch! Quick and simple to put together, upgrade the humble baked bean into a smoky, spicy affair with our Charlie & Ivy's Spicy Chorizo Marinade.

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

4 slices of your favourite bread, we used seeded sourdough

1-2 tbsps Charlie & Ivy's Spicy Chorizo Marinade, adjust for taste

1 tin of baked beans

6 rashers of streaky bacon

1 tbsp Charlie & Ivy's Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil

A little butter, for spreading on your toasted sourdough

A good crumbling of Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese

A twist of salt and pepper, to season

METHOD

So simple it barely needs a method! Heat your baked beans on the hob, along with the Spicy Chorizo marinade. Whilst heating and occassionally stirring, add the Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil to a frying pan and fry your bacon until crisp.

Lightly toast and butter your sourdough slices, arrange two slices on each plate and pile up with your smoky beans, a crumbling of cheese and finally top with your bacon rashers. Enjoy!
