Summer Skewers Three Ways

Summer recipe inspiration aplenty with our go-to combos for the barbecue. Using our Charlie & Ivy's Dressings as a tasty marinade, these skewers hit the spot this barbecue season. Simply leave to marinade whilst you get those coals white hot!

METHOD
Pork, Halloumi & Veg Skewers
Our go-to combo, colourful and flavour packed. Simply slice peppers and courgettes, pop in a bowl along with cherry tomatoes, slices of haloumi and cubes of pork steak. Drizzle over a good glug of our Smoked Chilli Dressing, cover and leave to marinade for ½ hour in the fridge. When ready simply arrange onto skewers and pop on the barbecue until cooked through. Meat free? Simply minus the pork!


Honey & Mustard Chicken Skewers
Oh so simple. Cube your chicken breasts into bite sized pieces, pop in a bowl along with a good covering of our Honey & Mustard Dressing, cover and pop in the fridge for ½ hour or longer if you can. When you're ready to cook simple pop the chicken onto your skewers and barbecue until cooked through.


Sesame & Soy Prawn Skewers
This works with cooked or uncooked peeled king prawns. Pop your prawns into a bowl and cover with a good drizzle of our Sesame & Soy Dressing, cover and marinade in the fridge for ½ an hour. When ready to cook feed the prawns carefully onto your skewers. Pop on the barbeque until cooked through. Serve with a squeeze of lime and a dipping bowl of dressing.
